POSITION: SENIOR EU PROJECT MANAGER

Type: On a project basis (with midterm full-time employment option)
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior EU Project Manager to join our team on a project basis. This role encompasses both the application preparation process and the subsequent project execution. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in not only preparing successful EU project applications but also in overseeing the entire project lifecycle from the award of the application to project completion. This includes showcasing a minimum of three successfully designed applications and implemented projects in a senior project management role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the development and submission of project proposals, ensuring compliance with the EU funding guidelines and regulations;
- Strategically manage the entire life cycle of EU projects, from conception through to completion;
- Liaise with key stakeholders, including government entities, research institutes and industry partners, to foster collaborative relationships;
- Oversee project budgets, timelines and resources, ensuring efficient and effective use of funds;
- Provide guidance on reporting on project progress, outcomes and impacts;
- Provide support to project team members to foster a collaborative working environment.
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience in managing EU-funded projects, with a minimum of three applications designed as a Senior Project Manager;
- Deep understanding of the EU funding landscape, including grant mechanisms, eligibility criteria and application processes;
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and projects, demonstration strong leadership and decision-making skills;
- Proficiency in financial management, project planning, and performance monitoring;
- Excellent command of English, bth written and spoken, with additional European languages being a significant asset;
SOFT SKILLS:
- Exceptional ability in working with international, multicultural and multidisciplinary environments;
- Strong communication and inetrpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakehodler groups;
- High degree of adaptability and flexibility in dynamic work settings;
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a creative and innovative approach to overcoming challenges;
- Commitment to upholding highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct;
